The world needs more people like Sarah. She's a feminist, a photographer and has great taste in music.<br /><br />Mmmm, my face is feeling tight in this mask.<br /><br />I am nearing the end of my course and have been applying for jobs not nearly enough. I have been studying not nearly enough, but if it's any consolation I have made some kickass smoothies recently. The one I made today being banana and apple.<br /><br />I plan to make a jerk casserole tonight and serve it to my friends with rice and veg. Nah really...<br /><br />I plan to write a series of very profound blogs about my remarkable life as a student in Kingston. Please note that the latter statement is said in jest... I don't really have a remarkable life, but I do on occasion do something interesting.<br /><br />I am almost half way to fifty and I live with two international students and a female art student who left a copy of Hustler on my bed over Christmas. We all seem to get along quite well and we never run out of things to do. I am the prankster and I buy more magazines and books than I have time to read. I also have a poster of Ani Difranco and I only eat vegetables and am obsessed with jerk spices. Last night James made a jerk casserole and nearly killed us. It was a joyous occasion.<br /><br />I have lots of hobbies. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbHpdMF-mTA">Here</a> is a video of me playing the jaw harp.<br /><br />I apparently have an opinion on everything, according to my boss.<br /><br />I have one brother who is very gay and a mother who is very not gay despite having short hair. My brother likes computer games and junk food, my Mum is in to Buddhism and is a trade union rep. I think my Mum is cool.<br /><br />So here we have my first blog entry, written very badly. Tomorrow I am going to a demonstration which is against the deportation of a gay asylum seeker called Mehdi Kazemi.
